Vashti - AKA Vicious, AKA Na’Toth, our older cat. A marmalade beauty rescued by the Anti-Cruelty Society.

Shego - AKA Stupidhead, AKA Ruth, our younger cat. A small li’l black cat, child of our friend’s pure-bred Russian Blue and his roommates black street cat.

Qool Hand Luke - Former upstairs neighbor. Sometimes called Q for short.

Cuz Dan - Cousin Dan, lives in town.

Ja(y)ne - Cousin Jane, Dan’s wife.

Meret the One-Eyed Cat - Dan and Jane’s deceased cat.

Hank and Penny - Dan and Jane’s new cats.

The Family

Father-in-Gay - My old man, Dad.

Taffy - Father-in-Gay’s mom, my grandmother. This is her real name.

ASusan - Father-in-Gay’s sister, my aunt.

UJohn - ASusan’s husband, my uncle.

Pretty much everyone else is listed by their real names, though there are exceptions.
